The Edmonton Prayer Walk for Peace started in 2009 by small group of Edmonton churches that wanted  a prayerful way to remember all victims of war.

Committed to a belief that all people are precious children of God, we invite anyone who has felt God's calling of peace, compassion and mercy to join us for a candlelight prayer walk through downtown Edmonton on Remembrance Day.

One day we must come to see that peace is not merely a distant goal we seek, but that it is a means by which we arrive at that goal. We must pursue peaceful ends through peaceful means.
